As a counselling therapist, my aim is to help clients achieve their goals and create a meaningful life. I believe deeply in providing a non-judgmental atmosphere and developing a trusting relationship with my clients.
Each client’s needs are unique, so the approach is unique as well. For some clients, this may mean improving their emotional wellness by developing positive coping skills, building their resilience to stress or improving their relationship and communication skills. Others are looking for support in processing difficult experiences and emotions.
My therapeutic approach mainly includes Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Solution-Focused Therapy. Some of my favourite tools include mindfulness strategies, hypnotherapy, and dream work. I am passionate about helping people identify and change limiting beliefs.
I offer in-person, phone or video sessions. I provide customized workshops on a variety of topics such as communications, conflict management, understanding personality differences, building emotional resilience, and more.
I am a Registered Counselling Therapist-Candidate (RCT-C) with the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists, as well as a Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).
